Roofing Maintenance Projects

We’ve talked about our roofing maintenance division, one of our relatively new service offerings that’s helping commercial property owners in particular maintain their roofs and extend their serviceable life.

We’ve just completed 2 roofing maintenance projects:

Flagler Cove Condos on Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach

and

The Sterling on Village Blvd in West Palm Beach

In both cases we’ve been able to present a significant life expectancy increase of their existing roofing system.

Entry Gate Installation

Have a look at the status of our construction job at Banyan Estates in West Palm Beach. We’ve included a few photos of the progress of the site so far. Initial masonry work has been completed as we continue finishing the entry gate.

New Commercial Flat Project

We’ve just started to re-roof a commercial flat roofing system in downtown Boca Raton across from the South end of Mizner Park. At over 150 roofing squares, it is a significant project in downtown Boca. The existing roof deck is CWF/Tectum and we’re going over it with a 75# base sheet, two plies of glass IV and a modified cap sheet. We’re able to offer the customer an industry leading 15 year no dollar limit warranty.

The owner states that the City of Boca Raton has plans for redevelopment of this building and this would probably be the last roof this building would get.

Apartment Complex

We just completed a re-roofing project at Oakwood apartments in Boca Raton. The project consisted of 3 apartment buildings and a poolhouse and measured out to 275 roofing squares. We used Monier Espana S-Tile for the project. In this case the tile was discontinued but the manufacturer had just enough for the project. Consequently, we were able to provide a top quality roof at a lower cost.

Entry Gate Installation

Garabar Inc. has been chosen by the Banyan Estates Property Owner’s Association to install a high-end entry gate system to the front of the community. The scope of work includes demolition and tree removal, prepping and grading the site for contruction and installing curbing, signage, paving and finishes.

We broke ground today and expect to deliver the completed entryway by the first quarter of next year.

Shingle Roof Deerfield Beach, Florida

Shingle Roof in Deerfield Beach, Florida

This Deerfield Beach historic residence sustained a significant amount of wind damage from multiple Florida hurricanes. Garabar replaced the shingle roof which consisted of almost 7000 square feet. Garabar replaced the roof with a double felt underlayment for added protecion and upgraded to architectural shingles.

Garabar is a Master Elite contractor for shingle manufacturer GAF ELK, the largest in the nation.

Tile Roof in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Tile Roof in Palm Beach Gardens

Garabar recently completed this tile roof in an exclusive community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Consisting of 60 roofing squares, or 6000 square feet, this roof is composed of a hand-made clay Spanish S tile.

Garabar made sure that no damaging dumpsters were used during tearoff and protected residents and pets by doing daily end-of-the-day sweeps for debris on the property.

Construction in Boca Raton, Florida

Construction Project in Boca Raton

Garabar remodeled this landmark Boca Raton freestanding building. This included interior and exterior construction, a new roof and a suspended concrete mezzanine floor.

This remodel was our largest and most comprehensive to date, taking more than 4 months to complete.
